Who We Are

I've always been drawn to aesthetics. Long before I had a name for it, I was the person rearranging furniture for fun, noticing the way light moved through a room, and falling in love with spaces that felt considered down to the smallest detail.

My path into design started in real estate. Years spent in residential sales taught me how to see a home the way a buyer does, and how much a thoughtfully arranged space can change the way people feel the moment they walk through the door. I learned to read a room quickly, to understand what makes a space functional, and to recognize the small shifts that turn a house into something people want to live in.

That experience shaped the way I approach design today. I'm not interested in trends for their own sake, or spaces that look good but don't actually work for the people living in them. I want every room I touch to feel intentional. Curated for the way you actually live, not just for how it photographs.

Now, through By Arlyss, I get to focus on my passion do the one thing I love doing every day: helping people fall in love with their own homes. Whether it's a single room refresh or a full design plan, my goal is always the same. I want your space to feel like it was made for you, because it was.

At the end of the day, that's what design should do. Not just make a house beautiful, but make it feel like home.

Services Overview

  • We start with a complimentary call to get to know you and your project. From there, we build a plan around your needs, budget, and timeframe. Once the big-picture work is in place, we come back in for the final touches and styling that bring the space to life.

  • For homeowners, Speed Staging is a chance to fall in love with what you already have, styled a new way. For pre-listing, we walk your home top to bottom, identify exactly what it takes to position it for buyers, and edit and place what you own with intention, from traffic flow to photo-ready staging.

  • We start with a call to get to know your space, then build a design plan you can bring to life at your own pace. Every package includes a curated shopping list, room layout, and styling direction, plus at least one round of revisions. Once it comes together, send us photos — we'd love to see it!

  • Our goal is to make you love your space. We design new spaces around the items you want to keep, layering in new furniture, color, and styling details with intention, so the final space feels finished, personal, and true to your style. What we bring in depends on your desired aesthetic and budget.

  • Home Evaluation, Interior Styling, and E-Design, plus Speed Staging for those who are looking for some on site suggestions.

    We also offer Color Consultations for paint selections!

  • We offer packages that are customized to your personal needs. Packages start at $150.

  • By Arlyss is based in southern New Hampshire and serves the Manchester and Nashua area.

    We do offer services in Northern MA and E-Design anywhere!

  • We start with a complimentary call to get to know you and your project. From there, we build a plan around your needs, budget, and timeframe, then return to add the final styling touches that bring it to life.

  • Our goal is for you to love your space. If the original design isn't quite aligned with your vision, we offer revisions to get it there. Interior Styling projects also include unlimited support throughout the process, and during install, so you feel great in your space every step of the way.

  • Timeline depends on the service and scope, we'll map this out together on your initial call.

  • No. Many projects start with what you already own, styled in a new way. We're passionate about limiting overconsumption and helping minimize the environmental impact of every design.
